Aleo is a privacy-focused blockchain platform for building zero-knowledge (zk) applications. I led creative direction, brand identity, and UI/UX design for Aleo, crafting a visual system that reflects the company’s position at the forefront of zero-knowledge cryptography.

The Aleo logo was designed as a strong and independent mark, built around custom typography with subtle pixel-inspired adjustments to key characters like the "A" and "L" to reflect Aleo’s technical focus. Since Leo was developed as a product within the Aleo ecosystem, the two logos were designed to visually align and sit together as a family, using similar geometric adjustments to create unity while remaining distinct.
BRAND
The Aleo brand combines technical precision with visual softness, using a black and white core identity paired with bright pastel gradients (green, pink, orange) to bring energy and modernity. Pixel-inspired graphic elements highlight Aleo’s focus on cryptography and zero-knowledge proofs, giving the brand a subtle digital texture. This broader visual language — including the gradient system — also informed the Leo identity, creating a cohesive relationship between the Aleo platform and its developer tools.

The website introduces Aleo’s mission and technology through minimal, structured layouts paired with gradients and subtle animations to convey depth and innovation. Designed to be developer-friendly, it focuses on helping users explore Aleo’s tools and start building.
